According to a recent report by the Empire Center, Texas is among the top states for migration.
Texas reportedly ranks second in total migration just behind Florida.
The report states that over the last decade, Texas’s population has grown by nearly two million making Texas among the top states for migration.
South Texas College Economics Professor Oscar Plaza said as the population grows, the need for more education also increases.
Professor Plaza explained that more educational growth equals more economical growth.
